Travel period: 01.11.2010 - 30.04.2011
Route information: The route might change depending on wind and weather conditions. The captain makes the decision.

Day 1
Victoria Harbour - Round Island

At around 10.30am we embark at Inter Island Quay, Victoria Harbour, and depart at about 12pm for our longest leg of the cruise - the passage to the group of islands around Praslin. We have a late anchorage at Round Island. The crew prepares us a Creole welcome barbecue dinner.

Day 2
Praslin - Vallée de Mai

We sail to Praslin, the second largest inhabited island of the Seychelles, famous for its unique World Heritage Site, the Vallée de Mai. General Gordon of Khartoum considered this the true Garden of Eden. The primeval forest hosts all six of Seychelles endemic palms, including the legendary Coco de Mer, as well as the Seychelles Black Parrot, the national bird of the Seychelles. After exploration of the reserve you have the opportunity to dive, snorkel or enjoy other water sports.

Day 3

La Digue - Anse Source d'Argent - Union Estate

In the morning we sail to La Digue, an island of extraordinary natural beauty! Ox-carts and bicycles are still the most common mode of transportation throughout the sleepy island. La Digue is home to the endemic Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher, and is perhaps most famous for its massive granite boulder formations at Anse Source d'Argent, which is thought to be the most photographed beach on earth. You have time to explore the entire island by bicycle. A stop at Union Estate gives an insight into traditional island activities, such as a copra mill, vanilla plantation and shipyard.

Day 4
Grande Soeur - Petite Soeur - Coco Island

In the morning we sail toward Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur for excellent snorkelling and diving and a visit of these uninhabited tropical islands. In the afternoon we visit Coco Island, a tiny granite island, a fantastic spot for snorkelling within a kaleidescope of tropical fish.

Day 5
Booby Island - Aride Island

We sail to Booby Island for diving and water sports in the morning. After lunch we sail to Aride Island, a globally important nature reserve with more native bird species than any other island. Aride is home to five endemic bird species and has the largest population of Lesser Noddy, Audubon's Shearwater and Seychelles Warbler. A nature trail leads to a wonderful cliff-top view with Frigate Birds flying beneath. Aride is the only natural location in the world where the flower Wright's Gardenia grows and about 400 species of fish have been recorded around the island.

Day 6

Curieuse Island

In the morning we disembark at Curieuse for a morning hike around this uninhabited island. Trails lead us through the mangrove forest and to the giant tortoise farm. Along the way we pass the historic ruins of this former leper colony. On the way to a beautiful beach the track leads us up to the top of a hill with fantastic view over the island. After a barbecue lunch on the island, you can do some water sports or simply relax and enjoy the island's beautiful beach and turquoise waters.

Day 7
Ile Seche - Mahé - Port Victoria

After breakfast we leisurely sail back towards Mahé, with a last stop at Ile Seche for more snorkelling or diving, followed by a farewell barbecue. The vessel sails into Port Victoria for an overnight stay.

Day 8
Victoria Harbour

We disembark at Inter-Island Quay, Victoria Harbour, at 08.30am.
