Day 1

Inter Island Quay, Victoria Harbour - Round Island

Embarkation of the vessel between 10.30am and noon on the Inter Island Quay, Victoria Harbour in Mahé. Thereafter you sail to Round Island, just off the isle of Praslin, where you will spend the afternoon with relaxing, snorkelling and water sport activities. In the evening the crew will cook a Creole welcome barbecue for you.

Day 2
Praslin - Vallée de Mai

Your destination for today will be Praslin, the second largest inhabited granite island of the Seychelles and famous for the unspoilt beauty of the Vallée de Mai. In the spectacular jungle you will encounter the six kinds of palm trees growing only in the Seychelles. Among these trees is the legendary Coco de Mer, that can be found only here. With a bit of luck and skill, you also might spot one of the very rare Seychelles Black Parrots. In the afternoon you return to the Sea Star with the opportunity to dive snorkel or enjoy other water sports.

Day 3
La Digue - Anse Source d'Argent - Union Estate

Early in the morning, the Sea Star will head for the beautiful island of La Digue, a sleepy island community where ox-carts and bicycles still remain the most common mode of transportation. The highlight of your excursion will be the visit of Anse Source d'Argent with its massive granite boulder formations, probably the photographed beach on earth. A stop at Union Estate gives an insight into traditional island activities, such as a copra mill, vanilla plantation and shipyard.

Day 4
Grande Soeur - Petite Soeur - Coco Island

During your breakfast, you will sail to the paradise-like islands of Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur with their golden coloured beaches. After a visit of this unique and completely uninhabited tropical islands you have time to enjoy excellent snorkelling and diving. In the afternoon you sail to the tiny granite Coco Island for snorkelling and diving.

Day 5

Booby Island - Aride Island

Today you are heading to Booby Island, where you spend the entire morning diving, snorkelling or swimming. In the afternoon, you will sail to Aride Island, a globally important nature reserve with more native bird species than any other island. A natural trail leads you to a spectacular cliff-top view with the largest frigate bird roost outside of Aldabra. 400 species of fish have been recorded around the island.

Day 6
Curieuse Island

In the morning you will sail to Curieuse Island, where you will take a morning excursion visiting a giant tortoise breeding farm. You will pass mangrove woods and see innumerable giant crabs. A walk over a hill with fantastic views takes you finally to a golden colored sand beach. After a barbecue lunch on the island you have time for diving, swimming, snorkelling and sun-bathing.

Day 7
Ile Sêche - Ste Anne Marine Park

After breakfast the Sea Star sails back in the direction of Mahé. On your way, you might cast the fishing rods for the last time or easily watch passing the islands. You will stop at the Ile Sêche with the last chance to swim, snorkel or dive. Later you will enjoy the Farewell Barbecue. The last night you anchor in the Ste Anne Marine Park before cruising into Port Victoria before sunrise.

Day 8
Inter Island Quay - Mahé

Disembarkation on the Inter Island Quay, New Port, Victoria, Mahé at 8.30am.
