Itinerary of the Terres Océanes Catamaran Cruise (7 days/6 nights)
The route runs along the west and north coasts of Mauritius, which are
protected against the south eastern trade winds. Calm sea and constant
visibility of the main island make the cruise ideal for beginners
and casual sailors.
Day 1:
14:00 Uhr: Check-in at Cap Malheureux.
Welcome by your skipper, finalise formalities and talk about
your navigation plans, after which you can make yourself comfortable
on the catamaran.
There are various restaurants in the harbour area where to dine. The skipper is
happy to advise you on local offerings. Overnight stay on the catamaran.
Day 2:
Sailing tour to Flat Island (circa 2 hours). Diving opportunity at La
Palissade (diving requirements should be specified when booking the cruise). Sail onto Ilot Gabriele.
Day 3:
Sailing tour to Gunner's Coin and Grand Bay on the main land of Mauritius.
Day 4:
Opportunitiy to visit the Royal Botanical Garden Pamplemousse.
Sail along the coast to the capital of Port Louis.
Day 5:
Visit the market of Port Louis. Sail further south to Riviere Noire passing
Tamarin Bay.
Day 6:
Landtrip to the fascinating Black River Gorge National Park in the South of the island.
Day 7:
Retourn journey along the coast to Cap Malheureux. Check-out at noon.
